The latest Resilient Caribbean Communities (CCR) Newsletter No. 11 highlights progress made between September and December 2025 in Cuba, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.

It features advances in agroforestry training for young people and producers, the distribution of more than 45,000 seedlings, the construction of community water reservoirs, and exchanges of regional experiences—all contributing to stronger water security, soil protection and biodiversity conservation, and ecosystem-based resilience.
The #CCR project is part of the IKI (International Climate Initiative). It is funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Protection, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN). Project management: Welthungerhilfe (WHH), OroVerde - the Tropical Forest Foundation - provides content and technical support.
