Showcase your project at Feria de Soluciones (Solutions Fair)!
The Solutions Fair is part of the IKI Regional Meeting, which promotes knowledge exchange between implementing organizations and counterparts of projects funded by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) in Central America and the Caribbean. As part of this meeting, the Fair is a space for exhibition and exchange, where each project can showcase its progress and results and engage closely with other projects and visitors. The Fair will take place on the first day of the event, in the afternoon of October 14.
How does it work?
Each project participating in the Fair will have its own booth to exhibit its initiatives, milestones, and results. Participants will be able to walk around the space to learn about the projects’ work.
Logistics
- The booth: You can set up your space on Wednesday, October 14, between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., before the start of the event. It will also be possible to set up during the event, as long as it is before 12:00 noon, since the Fair will be held in a room different from the main hall.
- Duration: The Fair will run for approximately an hour and a half after lunch, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Venue: Room on the 17th floor, Hotel Delta by Marriott, Aurola, San José.
- Materials we provide: a whiteboard (approximately 150 x 120 cm) and a table with two chairs (approximately 100 x 70 cm). You may complement your booth with additional materials (we share some ideas below).

Get inspired!
If you need ideas to showcase your project, here are some:
- Photographs and maps: representative photos draw the attention of those visiting your booth; maps and infographics help explain more complex processes or initiatives.
- Informational materials: publications, flyers, brochures, or posters from your project. If you don’t have a printed version, a QR code linking to digital material is a good alternative.
- Samples of products or services: if your project works with enrepreneurs or companies, showcasing products or prototypes developed with your support is an excellent way to tell that story.
- Audiovisual materials: videos, digital presentations, or testimonials from beneficiaries. Remember to bring your laptop or tablet to play them.
- Artistic or cultural materials: elements that reflect the identity and culture of the community, country, or region of your project.
- Giveaways: pens, notebooks, bags, or other promotional items from your project, if available.
- Branded visual materials: banners, roll-ups, or other visual pieces your project uses.
Tips for an effective exhibition
- Be clear and concise: visitors should understand what your project is about within seconds.
- Make it visual and appealing: use colors, images, and elements that catch attention from a distance.
- Encourage interaction: include a brief activity that invites visitors to participate, not just observe.
- Have concrete data at hand: one or two key results or figures that demonstrate your project’s impact are highly attractive for any visitor—be it a colleague, partner, or donor—in a short conversation.
-
Prepare a brief pitch: a clear and enthusiastic summary of your project designed to explain it in two to three minutes.
Tips for an effective exhibition
- Confirm participation by 05.10.26.
- Decide who from your team will be at the booth.
-
Gather and prepare the materials you will showcase (see ideas above).
