Monitoring and Evaluation in IKI projects: Challenges, Best Practices, and Needs 
We will focus on the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system of IKI projects, addressing best practices and challenges from the perspective of the implementers. A space will be provided for projects to express their specific challenges in M&E. Additionally, questions and needs will be gathered to inform the IKI about areas requiring support.

This session will be conducted primarily in Spanish.

Psychological Resilience for Biodiversity Crisis 
We will share experiences on how the current situation regarding the protection of natural ecosystems impacts our emotional state and provide some advice on staying motivated in our collective cooperation efforts. The meeting aims to collectively strengthen our resilience in the face of biodiversity loss.

Gender, Biodiversity, and Climate Change: Challenges, Best Practices, and Needs of IKI Projects
We will facilitate the exchange of experiences on integrating gender into international cooperation projects, highlighting best practices and challenges. The discussion will emphasize the importance of involving the integration of women and girls in climate change and conservation issues. Additionally, feedback and suggestions on this approach will be provided to IKI.

Aligning Financial Flows with Investor Actions for Nature: Perspectives and Strategies within the TNFD Framework
We will discuss how to implement and scale the recommendations of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) in investment strategies. With the support of specialists in sustainable finance and biodiversity, we will develop proposals that enable investors to align their financial flows with nature.

Blended finance for technological transition
We will evaluate how, given the current market conditions, an innovative mixed financing instrument is needed to fund the energy transition of the industry in Costa Rica. Through a contextualization of the Costa Rican financial sector and its needs, we will open a discussion on how to act in response to the current landscape.

Land - Sea Interconnection: Highlighting the Link Between Marine and Terrestrial Ecosystems 

We will highlight the importance, challenges, and opportunities of an integrated approach between the terrestrial and marine sectors through the application of good practices, their measurement, and the linkage with differentiated value chains.
